Lauri Ylönen of The Rasmus released their album in March 2011. The album does not have a name yet but the first single "Heavy" will be released in February.
LY: "I wanted to deal with ideas that have been impossible to be performed with The Rasmus, These songs did not fit with the band, I did not bury them in the demos folder so I decided to throw in a solo album. Ah been awesome to make music spontaneously and any discipline, "Lauri said in the press release.
The album will be released with his record company Dynasty.
The world premiere of Lauri solo material will be held in the Finnish Gaala Emma February 26, 2011 in Espoo, Finland.
The launch of the next album of The Rasmus also scheduled for spring 2011!
